The Kenya Revenue Authority (KRA), a key pillar of national economic development and tax administration in Kenya, has officially announced the opening of its Industrial Attachment Programme for May to July 2025 intake. This strategic initiative is part of the government’s broader agenda to foster youth empowerment and bridge the gap between academic knowledge and practical skills, thereby preparing young professionals to enter and thrive in the competitive Kenyan labour market.
The Authority continues to champion youth development by
offering structured learning experiences that expose students to the internal
workings of one of the most critical institutions in the public sector. This
industrial attachment opportunity is targeted at continuing undergraduate and
diploma students who are pursuing careers aligned with the dynamic needs of
public service, governance, and taxation.
Through this programme, KRA aims to nurture a generation of skilled, ethical, and competent individuals who will play a transformative role in the national development agenda.
About the KRA Industrial Attachment Programme
KRA’s Industrial Attachment Programme is a three-month
intensive attachment initiative that provides hands-on experience to students
currently undertaking their studies in various accredited institutions in
Kenya. The May to July 2025 cohort presents a unique opportunity for students
to gain valuable exposure, enhance their technical competencies, and develop a
clear understanding of workplace expectations and standards in public service.
This attachment is not merely a formality for academic requirements, but a critical building block for students looking to align their career trajectories with their academic backgrounds. Interns will be stationed in various departments and support service units within KRA’s vast organizational structure, providing them with real-world insights into governance, taxation systems, administrative operations, and interdepartmental coordination.
