To pursue this BIT one must meet the minimum University requirements and the minimum entry requirements for the School of Engineering and Technology (SET).

In addition, the candidate must have attained a mean grade of C+ and the following minimum grades at KCSE or equivalent qualifications Mathematics C+ and English C+.

2. Jomo Kenyatta University Of Agriculture & Technology (JKUAT)


The institution offers diploma and certificate courses in IT. If you want to pursue an undergraduate degree in IT at JKUAT, you must have KCSE mean grade C+ with C in Maths and English or two principal passes in KACE or Credit in relevant diploma.
You can also study a 2-year Diploma course in Information Technology at JKUAT. To apply for this course, a candidate must have an aggregate grade of C (PLAIN) in KCSE and grades C- (MINUS) in Mathematics and English or Division II in KCE with credit passes in Mathematics and English or an equivalent qualification recognized by the University Senate.

At Maseno University, you will go away with an undergraduate degree in either Bachelor of Science in Information Technology or Bachelor of Science in Computer Science and Technology.
