The Safaricom Foundation is one of the largest corporate Foundations in Kenya and was established in August 2003 by Safaricom Limited. Since its inception, the foundation has invested its funds in projects involving education, health, the environment, economic empowerment, arts and culture, music, and sports. In addition, it has also responded to disasters and humanitarian emergencies.
