The period between clearing an exam and waiting for the results is the hardest period not only in the students’ life but also that of the people that are related to them. It’s filled with anxiety and anticipation, with each person wondering how they will perform. In this article, you will be given detailed information on how to check your KCSE exam results via SMS and online.
How To Check KCSE Results
As of now, there are 3 ways you can use to check KCSE
results. These are;
- Going
to the school physically
- Via
SMS
- Checking
online.
Immediately after the KCSE results are out, heads of schools
have an obligation to go for the results from the Kenya National Examination
Council (KNEC) and avail them in the school for students to access.
As much as they can still be downloaded online, KNEC
releases individual student result slips which are the official document with
the result details. Usually, the official school stamp is required to be put on
the document before it’s released to the student to affirm its validity.
Other schools also require that recipients sign a book
confirming that they have picked their copy. This means that at the end of the
day, a physical visit to the school is inevitable.
How To Check KCSE Results Via SMS
Immediately after the results are out, they can be accessed via
SMS where a code is released to the public. At a given cost, a message is sent
back to you despite your mobile subscriber with the subject marks and total
score. This code may or may not change from one year to the next. You can use
20076 for Safaricom, Airtel, and Orange networks. The SMS procedure is a simple
one-step of sending your index number to 20076 and waiting.
