Ever Had A thought that making something for Billions of
users without coding anything. Leverage Google’s capabilities in machine
learning and Natural Language Understanding (NLU) to easily design
conversations and deploy Actions.
Let’s Get Started
Head On to Google’s Console (https://console.actions.google.com)
and Sign In with your Google Account
Click On New Project and Name Your Project or App
After Creating Your First Project, You will see a few categories
like Games, Food, Shopping, etc. So we will talk about this category later.
Build better voice apps. Get more articles & interviews
from voice technology experts at voicetechpodcast.com
You will see a category named Templates, just click on it.
There you will find a few more sub-categories Like Trivia, Flash Cards,
Quizzes, and more. So choose any one category you like or
whatever you want to make. There will be a small description written about the
sub-category. For Now, I Will choose Trivia.
After Choosing Trivia Category, you will see something like
this, Choosevoice command,
Head on to Fill in your content. Here you will see a link to
Google Sheets, just make a Copy of it and Rename the sheet, and start
creating your own Trivia. Make sure it’s unique, and within its
word limit. Now copy that Google Sheet Link and Paste it into the console, And
Let Google Validate. When done, click on Test on Simulator
Time to test your Trivia, You can also test this
on your smartphone with the same Google Account. If everything seems perfect while
testing, so let’s deploy. So You will need to fill few details like privacy
policy (Make sure it has a shareable link), developer
name, etc.
You will have to choose a unique name for
your trivia so users can easily find and play your trivia. Fill Out all the
details and head to the Deploy Section. Here you can choose location
targeting, company’s details, and website integration. If everything is fine go
to Release Section, and submit your project for Approval. Your
Project will be approved within 1–3 Days and if it’s not approved then make
changes to your project and submit it again. Then You Will Receive Mail That the App Is approved and is being deployed to Google Assistant.
If You have at least one deployed Actions project for
the Google Assistant in good standing may receive a t-shirt,
Google Home, and 200$ per month of Google Cloud credit for one year.
How We Get Rewards (T-shirt, Google Home, and 200$ per
month of Google Cloud credit)

receive a mail in a week stating that your first app is deployed and you will receive:

exclusive Google Assistant t-shirt

Once you fill out the details via the form, you will get a
confirmation mail in a day or two. It might take 6–8 Weeks for the T-shirt to arrive
and 3–4 weeks for Google Cloud credits redeem codes.
Now how do I earn a Google Home?
- Developers

users engaged”, or “Taking your Action global” are eligible for a Google
Home. Only one Google Home per developer.
I made 6 to 7 Updates to my trivia in a month and added 4
different languages with a good number of stats. It may take 1–2 Months to get
Google Home after filling out the form.
*Google Home reward might depend on your trivia and its
stats. Also please visit the FAQs center of action on Google to confirm if
your country is eligible for rewards or not.
